Harmony™ Listening Check

New and Exclusive Diagnostic Tool

“Check? Check? Is this thing on?”

Most of us have heard this phrase when someone is testing a microphone in front of an audience. Thanks to the new Harmony™ Listening Check, parents, educators, and audiologists don’t need to guess whether or not a child’s Auria™ or Harmony™ sound processor microphone or the T-Mic™ microphone is working correctly.

Check Connectivity with Ease

The Listening Check, a new and exclusive diagnostic tool, can easily verify that a child’s equipment is functioning properly, even when a child is too young to provide feedback themselves. In addition to checking whether the sound processor microphone is working, the Listening Check can also determine whether a sound processor is receiving proper input from an FM receiver (with the iConnect™ Adapter) or consumer electronic devices such as an MP3 player (with the Direct Connect™ Earhook and Cable).

Portable and Convenient

Portable and easy to use, the Listening Check may be beneficial wherever a child goes—to daycare, to school, on vacation, or even to summer camp. And it’s battery operated, so there’s no need to find an electrical outlet. Just turn it on, attach the device you’re checking, whether it be a T-Mic™ microphone or the sound processor microphone itself, pop in the earbuds, and talk into the device. “Is this thing on?” Most likely, it is!

Available Now!

The Harmony Listening Check will be included as part of the Pediatric Harmony Processor Kit. The device, which comes in a soft, zippered case, may also be purchased. A set of earbuds is sold separately.
