Meaningful Use of Speech Scale (MUSS)
Description
The Meaningful Use of Speech Scale is a parent report scale designed to assess the child’s use of speech in everyday situations. Like MAIS, it consists of 10 inquiries that assess the following areas: 1) vocal control, 2) use of speech without gesture or sign, and 3) use communication strategies in everyday situations.
