Bionic Ears for Kids …helping little ears hear big
AB’s newly developed accessories will make living with a cochlear implant more effortless, convenient, and comfortable for pediatric patients. The all-new, kid-friendly accessories include:
- The new Melody plush doll, a bilateral recipient and music enthusiast
- A bilateral PSP harness available in pink or blue
- A Bionic Buddy Critter Clip for attaching to children’s clothing so if the processor falls off the ear, it won’t go too far
- A Snuggie™ that securely fits over little ears to keep the active child’s processor in place

Hear and Be Heard …then and now

From preschool to military school…
In 1998, Microsoft released Windows 98, John Glenn returned to space, and five-year-old Jonathan Brilling, who was deaf since birth, received an AB cochlear implant. Today Jonathan is following his grandfather's military footsteps as a senior at Riverside Military Academy. Additionally, he is a salesman for Cutco knives, a job which requires him to book appointments via phone, conduct presentations, and listen to numerous customers.
