My favorite thing about my AB cochlear implant is:
being able to laugh and cry along with others as we experience daily triumphs and tribulations.
With my AB cochlear implant, I can:
have open conversations with anyone!
My favorite sound is:
hearing laughter, music and movies without captioning! Can you believe that?!
I chose AB because:
of what it has to offer – more headroom for growth in the internal device and their superior customer services department.
I am a BEA Mentor because:
I wanted to share my experiences with them and answer questions that would enable them to make a sound decision that AB and their wonderful services are superior.
I can help cochlear implant candidates by:
listening to them and offering my support before making a vital decision to go with AB with the goal of attaining their quality of life back.
About Me:
After growing up since birth as an oral deaf person with limited language skills, I am now a bilateral CI mother of three hearing sons with broader and expanded language abilities. It is great to be a part of the community laughing and sharing along with other mothers about our children's accomplishments, tribulations and growing pains. Yeah, life is good!
