In the event of an issue, AB products are backed by comprehensive warranties, as well as an exchange/refund policy for accessories. Should your warranty be set to expire or recently expired, AB offers peace of mind with an extended warranty to keep your system’s processor and headpiece covered.

You or your child can enjoy the world of hearing worry-free, knowing your AB products and accessories are built to last - and covered by AB in the event something should break or malfunction.

Comprehensive Product Warranties

Advanced Bionics provides comprehensive warranties on products and accessories to keep you or your child hearing the world around you.

Internal Device: 10-year warranty from the surgery date
Sound Processor: 3-year warranty from the initial stimulation date
Headpieces (excluding AquaMic Headpiece): 3-year warranty from the initial stimulation date
AquaMic Headpiece: 2-year warranty from the initial stimulation date
Universal Headpiece (UHP) and AquaMic headpiece cables: 1-year warranty from the initial stimulation date or time of purchase if purchased separately
Battery Charger: 3-year warranty from the initial stimulation date
Neptune Battery Charger: 90-day implied warranty
T-Mic^TM: 1-year warranty from the initial stimulation date or time of purchase if purchased separately
iConnect^TM Wireless FM Adapter: 6-month warranty from the purchase date
Accessories (PHP cables, S-Series headpiece cables, color caps, Kinder Clips, etc.): 90-day implied warranty
PowerCel^TM Batteries: 90-day implied warranty
AA PowerPak^TM: 3-year warranty from the initial stimulation date or time of purchase if purchased separately

Why Register Your AB Products?

Registering your products and accessories provides Advanced Bionics with the information needed to activate your warranty. By taking a few moments to fill out the downloadable registration form, AB will be able to service your warranty as quickly and efficiently as possible, minimizing any downtime and keeping you or your child connected to the world of hearing.

Easy Exchanges or Returns

AB accessories are designed to give you or your child the performance, comfort, and style for taking part in daily activities. Should you need to exchange a product, AB’s Exchange Policy is outlined below:

If the accessory product is unused, unopened, and within 90 days of the date of purchase, AB will exchange the accessory product for the same product or a similar product at the same price. You may also choose a refund (minus shipping costs). AB does not charge a restocking fee.
If the accessory product is unused, unopened, and returned to AB, a full refund will be issued, minus the cost of courier shipping.
Unfortunately, AB cannot exchange or refund any accessory product that is opened, used or outside of the 90 day return policy.
Accessories products from a kit (usually supplied at or near implantation) are not exchangeable and cannot be returned to AB for a refund.
