If you have a CI — even if you’ve had it for a while — you might have questions:

  • Could I benefit from a cochlear implant (for the first time or in my other ear)?
  • Should I be considering a sound processor upgrade?
  • Are there rehab activities I can be doing?
  • Is there another cochlear implant recipient I can talk to about their experiences?

The AB Hearing Center is here to provide information for those considering a cochlear implant, as well as answers, support and troubleshooting of your AB cochlear implant if you are an existing AB CI recipient. The AB Hearing Center is run by Sarah Williams, AuD whose goal is to help every AB recipient maximize the potential of their cochlear implant.

The AB Hearing Center can:

  • Give you guidance in choosing a sound processor
  • Provide technical support
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting
  • Set up your wireless connectivity
  • Provide aural rehabilitation
  • Match you with someone who uses a cochlear implant to share experiences.

And much more!

If you are considering getting a cochlear implant, or are the family member of a candidate, then you likely have questions as well, chief among them: Is a cochlear implant right for me?

The AB Hearing Center can evaluate your suitability for an implant and help you weigh your options.

Whether you’re thinking about a cochlear implant or contemplating an upgrade to the one you have, contact the professionals at the AB Hearing Center. They’ll listen, advise and point you to resources. The AB Hearing Center will always be here for you, wherever you are on your journey to hearing.
