Bluetooth and Mobile App Compatibility
Bluetooth® Compatibility Information for Marvel CI Sound Processors
The Marvel CI sound processors are Bluetooth 4.2 certified. Any mobile device that supports Bluetooth, Hands Free Profile (HFP) and/or Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) should work with your Marvel CI sound processor.
- For phone calls, any phone supporting Bluetooth 2.1 and newer should work without problems.
- Phones with Bluetooth versions prior to 2.1 may still work.
The list below identifies compatibility with commonly used mobile devices. If your device is not on this list but uses Bluetooth 4.2 or newer, you may still be able to connect your device to your Marvel CI sound processor.

AB Remote App Compatibility Information
Minimum System Requirements:
- Bluetooth 4.2 or newer
- Apple iOS 11.0.2 or newer or Android 6.0.1 or newer
The AB Remote app is compatible and has been tested with the following operating systems:
- Apple iOS 11.0.2, 11.2.6, 12.1.3, 12.4.1, 13.1.3
- Android 6.0.1, 8.0, 9.0, 10
We recommend installing the AB Remote app to try it on your device using Demo Mode.
The list below identifies compatibility with commonly used devices. If your device is not on this list but uses Bluetooth 4.2 or newer, you may still be able to connect your Smartphone and the AB Remote App to your Marvel CI sound processor.
