Processor repairs made even more convenient!

AB Express streamlines CI processor repair requests. It is an automatic service for sending SoundWave™ & Target CI fitting software files safely, securely and automatically to AB. So whenever a processor is sent in for repairs, AB Express allows us to ship a replacement processor that is already preprogrammed to its last settings.

AB Express saves you time by eliminating the need for you to locate patient files and upload them to AB when a patient request a repair.

AB Express operates in the background as a windows service. When the fitting software is configured with Automatic Backups enabled, AB Express will automatically and securely transfer files to AB. This way, whenever a patient calls AB for a repair, our Customer Service staff are able to locate the patient file and request a replacement processor that is pre-programmed to its last settings.


Getting Started

Download AB Express

If you are already signed in to the professional portal, you can download the software right away. If you do not see the software available, contact your center's admininstrator or AB support.

Get your AB Express Key

AB Express requires a unique key in order to function. Each center has their own key, so you must be signed-in to a portal account associated with a specific center in order to access it.

Share with IT Staff

Grant access to an IT designate to download software such as Target CI,  Soundwave™ 3.2, or AB Express.

How to Share Access to Software Downloads

Instructions

NOTE: You MUST be identified in our system as a Center Administrator in order to complete the following instructions. If you try to complete the steps below and do not see any actions in the Action Column, then you are not set up as a Center Administrator. Please contact Customer Service for assistance.

1. On the AB ProPortal, navigate to the Staff management page (located under the Center area of the Portal).

2. If the IT designate is already listed as a Staff Member, then
      a. Ensure they are set to IT Admin
            i. If they are not set to IT Admin, click on Edit and change their Center Role.
      b. Click on either Invite or Resend Invite

3. If the IT designate is not already listed, then use the Add Professional link.

4. Complete the form, ensuring that the center role is set to IT Admin.

5. Click on the Add Professional button – this will add the IT designate as a Staff Member of your center, and send them an email invitation to complete the creation of their account.

6. As a final step, please send the IT designate the PDF instructions above. They outline the steps the IT designate needs to complete in order to create their account and access the software.
