Linked two-ear solutions create a more balanced and natural hearing experience. Connect seamlessly with Phonak hearing aids, two cochlear implants, or another hearing device.
As a patient, the Marvels have been life‑changing for me.
I went from being a good user to being a very, very good user. Just last night I was talking in the hotel lobby with stone floors and lots of echoes. And the guy that I was talking to was leaning in. I'm just talking at a voice level that seems normal to me and he's having problems hearing....I think that the mental effort that I have to spend to hear has gone down dramatically and is probably much closer to normal hearing than it was before."

Yes. Advanced Bionics technology is designed to help you hear voices clearly in loud environments. By adjusting automatically to the noise level around you, your sound processor will help quiet background noise and make it easier to understand voices and pitch.
Cochlear implants are often covered by Medicare and many private insurance plans. Your exact coverage and any out-of-pocket costs depend on your insurance. You should reach out to your insurance provider for more detailed information, or contact the AB insurance support team.
A cochlear implant (CI) is considered the next step in hearing technology when hearing aids are no longer providing the sound or support someone needs. Hearing aids go on the outside of the body and work like a speaker, making sound louder. Cochlear implants go under the skin and send sound waves directly to your hearing nerve for clearer understanding.
The implant procedure only takes a few hours, and most patients will go home after the surgery the same day, or the very next day. You’ll start hearing with your cochlear implant after your audiologist turns it on—usually two to four weeks after surgery. You’ll hear sounds right away, but your brain needs time to adjust, just like getting used to new glasses. Understanding speech and the sounds around you will usually improve gradually over the next few months, with most people noticing progress in about three months.
